(Pot distilled after a 24 hour maceration: Dragon wormwood, and colored with red hibiscus)
Light and lucid pink color.
Mild nose for an absinthe with anise and floral hibiscus.
On the palate the mouthfeel is heavy and the spirit is warming and numbing. Overall tastes like you would suspect for a overproof absinthe up front. Then the hibiscus comes through in the mid-palate and lasts through the finish. It is pretty and floral and it makes this absinthe very distinctive.
