Tasting Notes:

Amber colored at center with golden fringes.
At full proof this whisky has a rich nose of minty/spicy alcohol.
On the palate this has a medium-full body and slightly oily texture. There is a touch of briny salt on the the palate.
With added water the nose has a much sweeter malt profile along with a touch of briny salt.
this is a beautiful mellow whisky with rich sweet honey-like malt character along with a touch of contrasting salt. A far cry from the massive peat of some of the newer Bruichladdich releases. Elegant and subtle. Very nice.
