Tasting Notes:

Star anise, Green anise, elderflowers, and a rare variety of lemon.
Very strong anise nose that leans towards a pine character. A bit of the floral character on the nose from the elderflower as well.
Very thick and syrupy body with a huge backbone of sugar. The anise and floral character are there, but they are underlying. The sugar dominates on the palate.
Overall, this is a good-tasting, very sweet liqueur. It would be good for people who like anise liqueurs but want the flavor to be very subdued.
