Rich amber color.
Creamy dried fruit, rye spice, and toasted coconut on the nose.
This is extremely fruity on the palate. For a very high proof bourbon this is deceptively soft on the palate and there is a very beautiful perfumey vanilla note through the palate.
The finish is long rich oak and full rye spice in the vein of cinnamon and heavy oak toast.
This is a beautiful bourbon. Heavy rye content is very apparent. (which is the often the style for Four Roses) Very well made.
